The Indian government has said that it intends to wait to see how the rest of the world copes with 3G before taking the plunge. Representatives of the government said: "We are scanning 3G related global developments. We have decided to wait and see how it evolves." The officials said that on a global scale there were still major questions as to the success of 3G that remained unanswered. "We have seen no unique selling point in these services yet," they said.
